Predator: Badlands is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator, outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
The film stars Elle Fanning as Thia and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek. Predator: Badlands is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and produced by John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O'Connor.

The Predator film series is a science fiction action franchise centered around deadly extraterrestrial hunters known as Predators, who come to Earth and other planets in search of worthy prey. The series began with the 1987 film Predator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dutch, the leader of an elite military rescue team hunted by a cloaked, technologically advanced alien in the jungles of Central America. The franchise expanded with multiple sequels, each introducing new characters and settings while retaining the core premise of the Predator hunting humans. Predator 2, released in 1990 shifted the action to the urban sprawl of Los Angeles, with Danny Glover facing off against a different Predator during a gang war. Predators followed in 2010, where a group of humans were abducted to an alien planet to be hunted. 2018's The Predator reintroduced the creatures with genetic enhancements and government conspiracies, while Prey, released in 2022, served as a critically acclaimed prequel showcasing a young Comanche warrior's fight against a primitive but brutal Predator. In addition to the main films, Predator has crossed over with the Alien franchise in two Alien vs. Predator spin-off movies.
